Festive fun at Oxford Services

A group of players from Chalgrove Band entertained weekend travellers at Oxford Services on Saturday and Sunday 3rd/4th and 10th/11thDecember, as part of the band's build-up to the festive season. Travellers were treated to carols which seemed to get many of the listeners into an early festive spirit.

The band usually meet at least one celebrity while playing at Oxford Services. Previous performances have resulted in photographs with people like Timothy Spall. Over the two festive weekends this year we met a bloke off Bargain Hunt (not David Dickinson, one of the other ones) and Michael Barrymore who was very friendly and sat down for a chat and a photograph.
